Absolutely!!!
Why does that matter?
The code is a set of minimum standards:
“R101.3 Purpose. The purpose of this code is to establish minimum requirements to provide a reasonable level of safety, health and general welfare through affordability, structural strength, means of egress, stability, sanitation, light and ventilation, energy conservation and safety to life and property from fire and other hazards, and to provide a reasonable level of safety to fire fighters and emergency responders during emergency operations.” - [IRC 2021].
Most unlicensed contractors do not know all the codes. Furthermore, at JBHI we not only follow the codes we also implement “best practices” and “per manufacturer’s recommendation” for all of our work.
-
Absolutely!!!
We carry: 1. General Liability, 2. Workers Compensation, 3. Commercial policy for vehicles.
The first policy means your home is protected, the second policy means the workers in your home are protected, and the third policy means your neighbors are protected as we travel back and forth between our shop and your home.
-
JBHI has more than 10 years of experience in residential construction.
Our tradesmen and staff are very experienced as well with some having over 30 years of experience.
-
At JBHI we understand the importance of working with Masters and all of our M.E.P. are Masters.
-
Yes, we have created a playbook of Standard Operating Procedures aka SOPs that ensure a top-notch job from pre-construction planning, and starting the project, to roughs, finishes, and the finish line.
Furthermore, our trades such as drywallers, tile setters, and carpenters are the best of the best.
This group of mentioned trades operates at a Master’s level.
-
Of course!
Every JBHI project is professionally planned and designed. Our classically trained, in-house designer works with AutoCAD, has an interior design degree, will work with you to design the home of your dreams.
Over the years we’ve worked with many different designers, and they are all great. Our in-house designer does a lot more than pick finishes, source materials, and give the trades a drawing. We have an all-encompassing approach that procures, tracks, double checks for damages, catalogs, stores, delivers, and finally gives very specific details so the trades aren’t asking the Project Manager a million questions.
You will know the JBHI difference on your project.
-
No. We have a designated and experienced Project Manager dedicated to your project.
Your Project Manager has a mechanical or engineering degree, has worked in commercial or residential building for multiple years, and has a professional relationship with each trade working in your house.
-
Absolutely!
You will know the difference with JBHI. We utilize state of the art Project Management software that your Project Manager will introduce you to before the start of your project.
The software allows you to see the schedule. For example, if we are ahead of schedule the PM will adjust the schedule and send you a text or email stating “I have updated the schedule”. You can log in and see the new completion date.
You can see the progress through daily logs where a description of the work that was accomplished with pictures will be loaded the following day in the morning or before.
Our SOPs and software give you access to:
Daily communication
Project photos
Schedule updates and timeline
Budget insights
-
We guarantee high quality.
We cut no corners in the construction phase, which allows our finishes to be unparalleled in the industry.
Our model is “A Well-Built” house or remodel.
-
We understand every client has a price point. We offer marketable pricing for custom contracting. The budget for doing custom work is different than a budget for doing builder grade quality or spec building. When we discuss “apples to apples” budgets for custom work our price is fair, and the value is worth it.
We came across this quote years ago and it still applies today: “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” ― Benjamin Franklin
Over the years, we have come to the rescue for many clients who were victims of subpar and unconscionable work because they were looking for a deal.
The deal we offer you is the JBHI difference of thoughtfulness, efficiency, transparency, quality, and growth.
